Grommet
A Grommet
This is the correct way to make a quoit and is useful as a basis for several projects; for instance
a Grommet may be covered with grafting, needle-hitching, cross-pointing, or a combination of all three,
to make an attractive arm bangle. Usually Grommets are made by unlaying a piece of line of the
required thickness to a distance at least four times the required circumference of the finished Grommet.
Each separate strand may then be laid up again around itself, as illustrated, into a separate Grommet.
